Jairam Arts and Science College

Thiru J.Rajendra Prasad stands as a distinguished educationalist and philanthropist, serving as the Correspondent and Secretary of Vysya College, established in 1990 and affiliated with Periyar University, Salem.Under his leadership, Vysya College became the first institution accredited with the prestigious "A" grade by the NAAC in 2004, a testament to its commitment to quality education. Subsequently, it was re-accredited with an "A" grade in 2011.

Drawing from his rich experience and in loving memory of his father, Thiru Jairam Chettiar, Thiru J. Rajendra Prasad established the Jairam Educational Trust in 1998. In 2001, he furthered his vision by founding the esteemed institution, Jairam Arts and Science College.The core ethos of the trust is to impart invaluable education with a profound intention of serving humanity. Strategically located in Salem's city center, Jairam Arts and Science College offers a diverse range of 13 UG courses and 3 PG courses. With 22 years of dedicated service in higher education, the college now boasts over 2000 students pursuing their graduation.

Expanding his horizons, Thiru J. Rajendra Prasad ventured into the realm of primary and higher education by establishing Jairam Public School in 2011. This institution prioritizes modern amenities, safety, and comfort in its infrastructure, coupled with contemporary teaching methodologies. The school is dedicated to nurturing intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual development, aiming to shape successful, responsible, and morally grounded global citizens.

In 2015, his commitment to education extended further with the inception of Jairam Higher Secondary School, aimed at delivering standard education at the secondary level. Thiru J.
